K-Series Leading Link Forks and Subframes
Ask someone who has switched from "teles" to leading links and you'll often get the reply,"Leading link forks have improved the handling, safety and comfort of my outfit by 100%. I should have done it long ago."
Our leading link forks and subframes are crafted using the finest cold drawn DOM (drawn over mandrel) steel. The substantial swing arm pivots on four sealed ball bearings using 5/8ths-inch axles. All joints are precision mitered to insure minimum distortion from welding. We use the TIG (tungsten inert gas) process for all welding. Koni shocks and springs control the damping. These units are fitted with adjustable rebound damping and are fully rebuildable. Forks are supplied with stainless brake lines fender brace and all necessary mounting hardware. There are several front fender options and the finish is electrostatic gloss black (powder paint or colored to match owner's existing finish.
Leading link fork advantages:
- Positive handling and precise steering
- Reduced steering effort (like power steering)
- Increased torsional stiffness
